Xenoeas Guild Member Extended Details
Walker, Age 23
- Tends to keep himself busy by doing various chores and upkeep as members stay at Etria’s inn, as well as utilize a makeshift lab desk necessary for honing medicinal skills. Allows Boktai to use the lab, or at least part of it, to allow him to bolster their alchemy attributes as well.
- Plans the weekly activities with Soejima, while allowing everyone to do whatever they want whether in or out of the Labyrinth since they both know that “just doing dungeoneering would be boring as hell”.
- When it comes to free time, his easygoing and lax nature makes him super easy to pick someone to hang with and stay for a few hours. As of late, he seems to be having fun with Ahana, despite initial worry, due to the two having shared fixation on herbal and non-herbal applications.
Soejima, Age 47
- Spends most of his allotted work training Arle and/or Ahana using Valerie’s backyard of her pub for more specific regiments. When asked about this from Walker the first time, he responded with “As long as it keeps them busy, and as long as they’re enjoying themselves, it mends the mind off of things”.
- Alongside scheduling, he was appointed the role of Xenoeas’ treasurer, majorly due to Walker’s intimate trust, though everyone - be it begrudgingly or dutifully - agrees he’s the least likely to use it for frivolous schemes, selfish desires, or experiments.
- Doesn’t have an “off” time, as he tends to report for inquiries regarding monster and item compendiums from Quinn over at the Radha Hall, but on occasion has been found muttering with Valerie one-on-one, as well as accompanying Arle whenever she asks for his assistance.
Arle, Age 16
- Every two and a half weeks, she writes a letter back home to her parents, informing them as to what she and/or her fellow party have been doing lately. She doesn’t mention every detail though, at the behest of Walker, Soejima, and Boktai.
- While the group initially didn’t know what she could do, a quick trip on the first floor stunned everyone by… well, maybe not amazingly, but neatly organized cartography, informing that she was pushed into doing so by her tutors back home. Since then, she’s kept a close eye to the maps pertaining to the areas they currently occupy, as well as updating any new info whenever she’s absent from the current party.
- Her down time is spent picking up the skills of everyone around her, whether or not she’ll have any practical use for them, or hanging at the town’s center square for physical play. Although, she tends to stay at the inn whenever she’s not feeling up for anything.
Alicia, Age 21
- Picks up books to read over, as well gather materials to barter with at Shilleka’s shop. Transitioning from her old mindset of mercenary jobs to miniscule work provided by the owner was pretty awkward, but she mellowed out real quick.
- After shocking Aya by handing her an old bow, the two decided to take up a training spot out in the forest a few clicks away from Etria. Not wanting to put much pressure and overstressing themselves, she’s kept the training days light, only procuring her if there’s something new to learn or if she feels her attributes have weakened.
- At first she seemed to have secluded herself from everyone, locking the doors so that no one barges in while studying. Over time, however, she’s decided to let someone into her room at the inn in case they need her for something, or to take a load off - though, in terms of stepping out, she only does so if it’s with Aya.
Boktai, Age 18
- Outside of using Walker’s lab, no one really knows where he spends his free time, allowing idle gossip to presume that he can’t stand the group. The only person close to finding this location is Arle, catching a glimpse of his footsteps and consistent routes, mapping it out from there.
- Not to say his penchant for solitude doesn’t stop him from contributing to the guild however, since his return shockingly yields ingredients for studies, as well as being the one to take the role of nightly guard. No one really knows why he does this, but then again, they don’t raise an objection to it either.
- Due to his nature as a loner, as well as his headstrong attitude, he doesn’t get asked to participate in a casual outing… well, except from Arle, whom he acknowledges and assists with plenty of times. Soejima, the one he bickers the most with, tends to get brought along occasionally, much to the ire of the two.
Ahana, Age 26
- Depending on the day of the week, she’s either dozing off in her room, diligently training with Soejima, or gazing and bunching with Walker. The latter made him, Aya, and Arle wonder if there was any intimate reason, to which she responded “No, he’s just the one person to know the dualism of a personality”.
- After a while, Walker briskly requests that she follows him to Ceft Apothecaries, due to the facility, and more specifically Dr. Hoffman, aiding his healing and medical research. After a steadfast yet curious first visit, she agrees to the notion of continuously coming by, fascinated by the tools on hand.
- Despite frequently sticking with Walker, she does help Aya, Alicia, and Arle out with miscellaneous reaches - literally, due to being the tallest member of the group, outgrowing Walker by a few inches. Soejima also gives her chores to do at the inn since her demeanor settles the drunken guest.
Aya, Age 24
- She inquired to Valerie if there’s an opening for an act to help draw in customers, as an exchange to arrange the seven rooms to allow them to stay as well as special servings, and from this she was able to uphold her end of the bargain… albeit with the catch that they pay when all’s said and done. “Maintaining the place ain’t cheap, kiddos and oldy” was all she could reply after the downcasted guild rebutted.
- Since her job at the pub starts at night, she spends most of her day thinking of new numbers to use both there, as well as whenever she joins in on delving deeper into the Labyrinth. This happens for about 3-4 hours a day however, with the remaining time of day spent on window shopping, in Alicia’s room, or drinking tea with Arle.
- Has designated nicknames for everyone, since “it’s easier to remember special ones thanks to a special somethin!” according to her. Alcy = Alicia, Poyo = Arle, Sensu = Walker, Reaper = Boktai, Orchid = Ahana, and Sir Iron = Soejima. Of them, she’s only not fond of Boktai, finding that his brooding and standoffish remarks irritate her, although Walker and Arle have been trying to amend this since “having one discordance in the group vibes is bad enough”, to which Aya reluctantly agrees with.
