Walker, the Medic, was the one that set up the Xenoeas guild to begin with, and is "the de facto leader" due to majorly the one to stay within the venturing party, although he's a fan of the label. Arle joins soon after its establishment, mainly as a way to hone her skills as a Landsknecht after receiving the blessing of her folks.
Both are entering the Yggdrasil Labyrinth for the thrill and fun of it; they aren’t looking for a revelation or domination or anything like that, they’re already fine as they are. It’s from this philosophy that the other party member’s moods and feelings change the more they explore…
Muted Survivalist
Alicia
Influences: Agent 47
Alignment: Lawful Neutral
Notes:
No one, not even Walker, are sure when or how she joined, but they do know two things: her skills with the bow are extraordinary, and she’s a fantastic gatherer. To her, the Labyrinth serves as more training and mercenary work.
Keeps to herself, and has yet to utter a word to anyone, even in group conversations. Whether it’s due to her personality or a deep-seated ailment is debated amongst the crew, although she has incrementally become more open as time goes by thanks to the guild's troubadour.
Walled Mentor
Soejima/???
Influences: Boone, Dick Grayson
Alignment: Lawful Good
Notes:
Due to prior connections with Walker, he joins the guild to help keep an eye on things. Shortly after, he takes up mentorship to help Arle and, not much later, the Dark Huntress. He frequently engages in squabbles with the guild's alchemist due to their contrasting idiosyncrasies.
Has a past that he seldomly, if ever, elaborates upon. Walker has asked a few times before, and each time Soejima responds with a simple “when it’s time”.
One mind, one goal: Tightening the bond of alchemy, be it by force or persistent training, two utilities the Labyrinth can help with. He doesn’t uphold unjust violence, but will do so if he must, otherwise he’s mainly pragmatic.
Because of this, majorly everyone in the group is on edge or outright antagonistic to him, Soejima especially. Strangely enough, though, the only person he seems content with is Arle...
Free-Spirited Troubadour
Aya
Influences: Sumire Kanzaki, Lotus (999 / Zero Escape 1)
Alignment: True Neutral
Notes:
An ojou-sama with lots of talent. She knows how to bloody her hands, but prefers to support and invigorate anyone she’s with since “it messes with her vibes”. She puts enough distance between the rest of the party so that they don’t know everything, but know just enough to realize she’s... usually helpful. Alicia especially seems enamoured with her, to the point she's become the closest to her side.
Has yet to elaborate on why she’s tackling the labyrinth, each inquiry delivering more sarcastic excuses than straightforward answers. It's particularly annoying to Boktai, but the others don't seem to mind, or at most, simply roll their eyes.
Ribaldrous Huntress
Ahana
Influences: Ichi The Killer, Hrist (Record Of Ragnarok)
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Notes:
Casually, she’s a salacious yet caring character, avoiding anything that could cause unwanted attention from her or anyone else despite the temptation to do so. Within battle, however, she wildly shifts into a whipping dominatrix that prioritizes belittling and inflicting statuses than outright harm.
Surprisingly enough, she gets along with almost everyone in the group due to her niceties and genuine care, even diligently requesting Soejima’s training so that she can be a little more helpful if the time comes. Besides, the Labyrinth does a great job satiating her lust anyway.
